Tom Pierik has a very diverse and extensive background in commercial real estate, specializing in major office development and leasing projects in Southern California’s dynamic Inland Empire region.  Throughout his career, he has been involved in the development, leasing, and sales of over 6 million square feet of office space with a transactional value over half a billion dollars.   

Tom joined Lee & Associates in 1987 and has consistently been one of the top- producing brokers in the Ontario, Riverside, and San Bernardino markets and was appointed Partner/Vice President with Lee & Associates in 1992.   Tom credits his enjoyment of working with people and assisting companies strategically plan how they can most effectively solve real estate-related issues as some of the key foundations for his success. 

Tom has earned the prestigious SIOR designation (Society of Office and Industrial Realtors) and has been presented numerous awards by this organization for some of his significant accomplishments within the Inland Empire.  In addition, Tom has been recognized by the Co Star Group, one of the leading Commercial Real Estate Information Companies in the United States, and has received their "Power Broker" award each year it has been awarded in the region due to his significant transactional volume. 

Tom has regularly been a featured speaker discussing Inland Empire office market trends for such organizations as the University of California, Riverside, the Inland Empire Economic Partnership, Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA), and for the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks (NAIOP), to name a few.  Tom is quoted regularly discussing regional office activity in the Riverside Press Enterprise, Inland Empire Business Journal, and the California Real Estate Journal.

Tom grew up in Rhode Island playing ice hockey and came to California in 1981 while working for various Chart House restaurants on the west coast.  He received his business degree with an emphasis in real estate from the University of Southern California and lives in the Inland Empire where he has been involved in coaching youth soccer and baseball. 

Out of the office, Tom is an avid mountain biker and spends his time with his wife, Tracy, and their three children.  As a family they love to camp throughout California each summer and look forward to hitting the slopes for skiing and snowboarding each winter.
