Rich Erickson began
his career at Lee & Associates in 1993 while still a student at
the University of California Riverside (UC Riverside.
In June 2001, Rich was elected to the Lee & Associates Board of
Directors as a Vice President after being designated "Top
Associate" in 2000. In 2008, Rich was promoted to the
position of Senior Vice President and was a top producer in
the Lee-Riverside, Temecula and Palm Desert group of companies.
Rich has lived in
Riverside for 18
years and maintains a strong solid relationship base
in the community, serving on the Riverside County
Regional Medical Center Foundation Board and the
Haider Spine Foundation Board. Both
boards serve to better the Inland Empire
and help the children of our community.
Rich Erickson grew up in Peoria, Illinois, where he
developed his love of basketball, having attended
the practices and games at
Bradley
University
where his father worked.
His family relocated to Riverside in 1986
where he finished his primary education and attended
UC Riverside, earning his graduate degree in
Business Administration in 1997.
Rich and his older brother Mike, continue to be big
basketball fans. He has enjoyed watching Mike
live out their childhood dreams of becoming a
basketball coach at Poly High School.
Rich’s parents also both worked at UC Riverside.
His dad was Vice Chancellor for Relations while his
mom was Assistant to the Chancellor.
Rich married his wife, Josephine, in 2004 in
Maui.
They had the pleasure of flying to Hawaii with 80 of
their closest friends to celebrate and enjoy the
“Greatest Place on Earth”.
They have since made their home in
Riverside where
they maintain strong family ties, enjoying their
five nieces and nephews, three of which live a
within a mile of their home. Rich and
Josephine love the younger community that has
developed over the last five years in Riverside.
Josephine and Rich have two sons, Jackson and
Nicholas.
Rich still finds time to enjoy playing and watching
sports.
Rich maintains his
midwest
roots by frequently traveling to Illinois to visit
extended family.
